nine patch progress

So all the blocks are done and I spent forever trying to figure out the composition. Luckily, with Chris’ help, we got it. Ive decided not to do sashing in between after arranging it with white and colored fabric, it just looks better with the blocks right next to each other. I am going to do a white border with the light purple binding. I still have to do some studies but I think I am going to quilt the orange areas with purple thread and the white areas with white thread.
It was a beautiful weekend in Savannah, and if you were in Savannah and walked through Forsyth Park you would’ve seen this…



This is the work of Kiril Jeliazkov, an artist from Bulgaria. He transformed the park into a gallery and will be up until the 23rd of October. If you are in town you should definitely go see it! Here is an article about the artist.
