copyright for quilters

I found this article about copyright laws the other day and think it has a lot of useful information.

The Baby Steps quilt is finished but I didnt take a picture of it before I brought it to critique (which went very well, by the way, and my classmates are freaking geniuses!). We had a great discussion about different types of landscapes, whether it is literal or metaphorical, and how it is represented in the quilt. Since it is late and Im totally drained thats as far as Im going to go into it for now, but I would love to get a discussion going!
